Therapeutic actions:
- Vaccinium vitis-idaea is a female oriented remedy, recommended at menopause (contains a certain amount of estradiol).

Clinical indications:
- Menopause: Hot flushes, antispasmodic, uterine fibroids, ovarian hyalinosis (postmenopausal).
- Vascular: Vaccinium vitis-idaea also works on arteries and arterioles, of which it prevents the sclerosis and the degeneration of the wall. Arteriosclerosis of the arteries with wall degeneration.
- Hyalinosis: Arterial, conjunctival, viral pericarditis, thyroid adenoma.
- Musculoskeletal: Osteoporosis (facilitates the absorption of calcium), evolutive chronic polyarthritis.
- Uro-genital: Acts on calcium, oxalate stones, nephritis, prostatic problems, recurring cystitis (effective urinary disinfectant + diuretic action and is useful in recurrent cystitis and as drainer of the bladder).
- Digestive: Intestinal disinfectant. Bipolar diphasic action, inert colon stimulant in constipation or sedative and antispasmodic in diarrhea.
