Mode of action
Crataegus: Cardiac tonic; effective in the treatment of hypertension, apnea, and dyspnea due to cardiac insufficiency, atherosclerosis, intermittent claudication.
Laurocerasus: Indicated for cardiac or respiratory disorders; cardiac palpitations; rapid and weak pulse; dyspnea; chronic cough.
Oleander: Specific action on the circulatory system; indicated for: weak or failing memory, coldness of the extremities, palpitations, and dizziness.
Spartium scoparium: Cardiac functional disturbances; hypotension.
The effectiveness of R44 is apparent after a few days of treatment; at this time, there is normalization of venous tension and regularization of the blood pressure. This specialty is ideal for anemia in women, caused by the loss of blood at parturition. R44 is also effective in cases of hypotension following infectious illnesses, and in general vegetative dystonia in concurrence with hypotension.
