Description
Chronic ailments – drainage
Indications
Counteracts the ill-effects of chronic disease; stimulates and fortifies the defensive (immune) mechanism in the weakened individual; aids in detoxifying and reactivating the system.
Mode of action
Increased vitality and immune resistance are obtained from the effectiveness of the following remedies:
Acidum nitricum: Heart palpitations produced by the slightest excitement; exhaustion; irritability and peevishness, worse in the morning; dyspnea.
Acidum phosphoricum: General exhaustion, especially of the nervous system, after overexertion, illness, or grief; depression, apathy. Heaviness and numbness of the limbs; vertigo.
Calcium iodatum: Increases the viscosity of blood. Functions to activate the thyroid together with Ferrum iodatum and Sulphur iodatum.
Ferrum iodatum: Irregular blood circulation; weakness, debility; gastrointestinal disturbances; epistaxis; headaches.
Sulfur iodatum: Similar to the remedy Sulphur in its action, a key remedy in those cases where principal or well indicated remedies do not produce the desired reaction. Sulphur iodatum may cure cases that were unyielding to previous therapy (ie. increases the organism’s reactivity), or may be used to complement a principal remedy; it enables the organism to renew or transform bodily fluids. Old, suppressed symptoms may reappear temporarily, but this is a consequence of the process, ultimately leading to a final cure.
