Indications
Generalized arteriosclerosis and vascular hypertonia. Cerebral arteriosclerosis, aortic and coronary sclerosis, nephrosclerosis; intermittent claudication, intestinal angina. Cerebrovascular congestion producing the neurological symptoms of senility, weak memory, vertigo, forgetfulness; apoplectic tendency and sequelae. Goitrogenic predisposition, thyrotoxicosis.
Mode of action
Utilizing the various iodates in combination with active biologic elements renders this specialty useful in extended iodine therapy.
Arnica montana: Apoplectic tendency; ruptured cerebral arteries preceding apoplexy.
Arsenum iodatum, Calcium iodatum, Kalium iodatum: Increase the viscosity of blood, act directly on the thyroid gland; hypertonia and general arteriosclerosis.
Aurum chloratum: Depressive psychosis. Congestion of blood towards the head. Palpitation.
Barium chloratum: Progressive loss of memory, senility, unsteadiness and psychic changes, manic states; vertigo, deafness.
Conium: Vertigo; loss of memory, senility, mental dullness or confusion, “brain fog”; impotence.
Glonoinum: Dramatic action on the circulation; congestion in the head, mental confusion; elevated or rapid pulse; congestion or the sensation of pressure in the chest and heart.
Phosphorus: Vertigo worse on rising; congestion of blood; loss of memory, psychic changes, and anxiety; general weakness and hypersensitivity of the nervous system.
Plumbum aceticum: Cerebrovascular arteriosclerosis; hypertension with weakened memory and neurodegeneration. Nephrosclerosis as a sequela of apoplexy; intermittent claudication; neurodegeneration.
