NOW® Goldenseal Root is derived from the root of the Hydrastis canadensis plant. It has been used traditionally by Native Americans for hundreds of years and is still used by modern herbalists today. It has been referred to as “king of the mucus membranes” because of its use for reducing mucus membrane inflammation. The active ingredients of goldenseal include isoquinoline alkaloids, such as berberine, canadine, and hydrastine.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Veg Capsule (hypromellose, water), Stearic Acid (vegetable source).

Suggested Use

Suggested Use: Adult Dosage: Take 1-2 capsules, 3 times daily. May take up to one week to produce beneficial effects. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
