Happy 20th Anniversary to Boyd’s Alternative Health
When I think back over the last 20 years I am overwhelmed with emotion as I reminisce where we’ve been and where we are today. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting, literally, a few thousand people because of this lifestyle and business in Natural Health. As many people know I never intended to study this for a business, I only wanted to learn a little more to help my family. I want to thank each and every one of you because this little natural health thing has become so much more! It has become something that I love to share, I live and breathe. I’ve raised my family using these principles of natural food, natural remedies as medicine and continue to be amazed at what our bodies can and cannot handle and the benefits of living in this lifestyle. I’m not going to pretend that I have all the answers or that I’m exactly where I want to be. I believe that is something we all need to learn and accept, we are on a journey, a journey to physical wellness, mental wellness and each day is an opportunity to learn to live better. I love to continue my education; I joke that I get bored however the truth is the more I learn the more I know I have so much more to learn. I have a few families where I’m seeing the 4th generation and this warms my heart.
My greatest learning has always been sitting in front of people, working hands on with Cranial Sacral Therapy and just listening to people. I have gone home many nights satisfied, and many nights frustrated with myself, frustrated with a system that doesn’t want to work with this type of medicine, I’ve stayed here after work and sometimes cried for someone that was in my office that day for something I could do nothing more for other that hear them out. Because every single thing that needed to change was up to them and at times I could see they were too scared because of a situation that was making them sick. Then there are the days I go home feeling elated to know I was able to be part of someone’s journey to wellness, whether it is physical or mental, and this is why I’m still here after 20 years!
So, here we are 20 years later and we are still growing! We are now called Boyd’s Alternative Health and Laser Center. We also offer our Zyto Wellness Scan and it just keeps getting better! I am so very blessed to have amazing staff, a supportive husband and family that is just getting growing! You might have seen the survey we sent out, there is no commitment on your behalf, just an ability for us to better understand how we can assist you in the future. I brought in the Zyto Elite to allow people immediate help due to the fact I am so booked up. The funny thing is, some people only want a scan now, and that’s OK! I actually have Amanda scan both my husband and myself now. I love the information it provides and it’s so very exciting to see the changes on paper! More and more people are becoming comfortable with the Zyto and are trusting the information it gleans from our body. Please don’t feel scared to try it, it won’t be a waste of your money, it’s such an amazing form of technology! People ask me if Amanda has as much knowledge as I do, it doesn’t matter with the Zyto, the technology has it all! Many days I send a client over to have a quick scan to confirm something for me from my muscle test. There isn’t anything that comes up on your scan that it does not provide information for.
